our story
DC ConnX (formerly DC Connections) started in June, 2017 at Dirt Farm Brewing in Loudoun County, Virginia as an informal gathering of 6 data center professionals and friends with a common interest; everyone was connected to the largest data center market in the world (Ashburn, VA) and enjoy social discussions on data centers, technology and great craft brews.
Allen Tucker discussed his vision with Valerie, his wife and a few close friends. The decision was unanimous to continue to gatherings monthly. Allen, Valerie and with a few key friends, continues this tradition of informal monthly meetings at a Breweries, Wineries, or other Venue for the purpose of enhancing business and social connections, networking, and exchanging ideas. The size of the DC ConnX events grew to regular meetings of 100+ to nearly 700 professionals attending DC ConnX Annual Concert.
Prior to the Pandemic of 2020. DC ConnX held 34 consecutive monthly events at numerous venues in Northern Virginia, Miami, and Phoenix. DC ConnX is recognized as the premier professional data center and technology networking platform. DC ConnX regularly attracts attendees, members and executives from numerous international locations. DC ConnX is a key contributor and financial supporter of community organizations in Loudoun County, VA.
Mission: DC ConnX attendees have unbelievable fun, safe and valuable time together networking through monthly social events since our beginning in 2016 to develop meaningful valuable personal and business relationships that fosters long term value for all parties.
DC ConnX and attendees is not only about collecting contacts (business cards), It’s about creating, building trusted interconnections of valuable networking relationships in the data center industry. Networking is the process of linking two or more contacts and/or networks for the mutual beneficial personal and professional exchange of creating and building long lasting trusted relationships that extend beyond collecting contacts. Having a strong network provides you and your company with strategic advice and partnerships to help foster and inform valuable strategic personal and business decisions to elevate you and your company's market presence, knowledge, growth, revenues, partnerships, workforce retention and attraction, and much more.
DC ConnX is for data center professionals and does not set boundaries or have exclusionary requirements. DC ConnX is not a membership based organization. DC ConnX offers No Annual Association Membership Dues or Monthly Fees....EVER!!
DC ConnX IS A KEY CONTRIBUTOR AND FINANCIAL SUPPORTER OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA AND THE UNITED STATES THROUGH TD VICTORY FOUNDATION LLC TO FIRST RESPONDERS, EDUCATION AND MILITARY VETERANS.
